Florida High School Football - Gulf Coast held off by South Fort Myers

(September 29, 2006: Fort Myers, FL 33912) The South Fort Myers Wolfpack held off the visiting Gulf Coast Sharks football squad by a final score of 16-13 in Friday's league outing.

The Wolfpack now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Gateway Charter for a non-league outing on Friday, October 6. South Fort Myers will confront a Griffins squad coming off a 41-21 non-league win over Bradenton Christian (Bradenton, FL). The Griffins record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, Gulf Coast moves to 1-4 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to Immokalee (Immokalee, FL) to confront the Indians in a non-league outing on Friday, October 6. The Indians go into the outing with a record of 6-0. Immokalee won 37-6 in their recent non-league match against Lely (Naples, FL)
