Texas High School Basketball - Columbia crushes Palacios
(January 31, 2012: West Columbia, TX 77486) Columbia Roughnecks (West Columbia, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Palacios Sharks (Palacios, TX), 101-33 in a league bout.
With the win, Columbia upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Roughnecks travel to Sweeny (Sweeny, TX) to encounter the Bulldogs in a 3A Region IV District 29 bout on Friday, February 3. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-11.
Next up, the Sharks encounter the Needville Bluejays (Needville, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 29 bout, on Friday, February 3. Palacios will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record.
