(February 2, 2012: Belden, MS 38826) Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Jumpertown Cardinals (Booneville, MS) and the host Tupelo Christian Prep Eagles (Belden, MS), saw Jumpertown's basketball squad trounce Tupelo Christian Prep by a score of 93-55.

With the victory, Jumpertown improves its record to 13-8 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Wheeler (Wheeler, MS) to play the Eagles in a 1A Region 1 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 7-11.

Next up, the Eagles play the Mantachie Mustangs (Mantachie, MS) in a non-league battle, on Friday, February 3. Tupelo Christian Prep will attempt to improve on its 3-21 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 10-12 record after their 67-55 league loss to Nettleton (Nettleton, MS).
