Florida High School Basketball - Ridgewood nudges Wiregrass Ranch

(January 28, 2009: Wesley Chapel, FL 33544) In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Ridgewood Rams (New Port Richey, FL) basketball squad edged the host Wiregrass Ranch Bulls (Wesley Chapel, FL), by a margin of 67-60.

The Rams (20-2) will now prepare for their outing against Zephyrhills (Zephyrhills, FL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 9-9 record. In their last outing, Zephyrhills was tipped by Hernando (Brooksville, FL), 58-54, in a league outing.

The Bulls now own a 7-15 record. They take the field next when they host Hudson for a 4A District 8 outing on Friday, January 30. Wiregrass Ranch will encounter a Cobras squad coming off a 66-62 league win over Pasco (Dade City, FL). The Cobras record now stands at 14-7.
