Kentucky High School Basketball - Tates Creek nips Bryan Station
(February 10, 2012: Lexington, KY 40517) Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Tates Creek Commodores (Lexington, KY) and the visiting Bryan Station Defenders (Lexington, KY), saw Tates Creek's basketball squad hold off Bryan Station by a score of 53-51.
With the victory, Tates Creek improves its record to 11-15 on the campaign. The Commodores host Conner (Hebron, KY) to battle the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 11. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 19-7. Conner won 70-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Holy Cross (Covington, KY)
Next up, the Defenders battle the Christian Academy Centurions (Louisville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Bryan Station will attempt to improve on its 12-13 season record. The Centurions come into the challenge with a 17-11 record after their 67-50 non-league loss to Sacred Heart (Louisville, KY).
