Arizona High School Basketball - St. Mary's falls to North

(January 25, 2012: Phoenix, AZ 85014) The North Mustangs basketball team scored 82 points and held the visiting St. Mary's Knights to 67 in the Mustangs league triumph on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 18-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain Pointe for a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. North will play a Pride squad coming off a 61-46 non-league loss to Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ). The Pride record now stands at 12-9.

Next up, the Knights play the Chavez Champions (Laveen, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. St. Mary's will attempt to upgrade on its 11-12 season record. The Champions go into the bout with a 19-4 record after their 62-59 non-league loss to Fairfax (Laveen, AZ).
