Texas High School Basketball - Northland Christian ripped by New Waverly
(November 29, 2007: Houston, TX 77014) The
New Waverly Bulldogs basketball team scored 79 points and held the host
Northland Christian Cougars to 47 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to
Brentwood Christian for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 1.
New Waverly will confront a Bears team coming off a
65-47 non-league loss to
St. Andrew's (Austin, TX). The Bears record now stands at 0-4.
The Cougars (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against
Coppell HomeSchool (Coppell, TX). The enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest,
Coppell HomeSchool was routed by
St. Thomas Episcopal (Houston, TX),
79-62, in a non-league contest.
