Texas High School Basketball - Keller Central thwarts Northwest

(January 10, 2012: Justin, TX 76247) The Keller Central Chargers (Keller, TX) basketball felled the host Northwest Texans (Justin, TX), 54-36 in Tuesday's league test.

The Chargers (17-7) will now prepare for their test against Coppell (Coppell, TX). The Cowboys go into the 5A Region I District 7 test with a 14-6 record. In their last test, Coppell defeated Northwest (Justin, TX), 47-46, in a league test.

The Texans now own a 16-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Saginaw for a 5A Region I District 7 test on Friday, January 13. Northwest will clash with a Rough Riders squad coming off a 90-46 league loss to Carroll (Southlake, TX). The Rough Riders record now stands at 6-15.
