Nebraska High School Basketball - Beatrice trounces Holdrege
(January 13, 2012: Beatrice, NE 68310) The Beatrice Orangemen (Beatrice, NE) basketball crushed the visiting Holdrege Dusters (Holdrege, NE), 59-26 in Friday's non-league test.
The Orangemen (9-2) will now prepare for their test against South Sioux City (South Sioux City, NE). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, South Sioux City walloped Ralston (Ralston, NE), 65-28, in a non-league test.
The Dusters now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lexington for a B District 5 test on Saturday, January 14. Holdrege will clash with a Minutemen squad coming off a 44-36 league win over Hastings (Hastings, NE). The Minutemen record now stands at 7-4.
