California High School Volleyball - Contra Costa Christian can't hold off San Francisco Waldorf
(September 2, 2010: Walnut Creek, CA 94596) In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting San Francisco Waldorf Wolverines volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Contra Costa Christian Cougars.
The Wolverines (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Roseland University Prep (Santa Rosa, CA). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Roseland University Prep was edged by Anderson Valley (Boonville, CA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Cougars clash with the Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy Cougars (Pleasant Hill, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 7. Contra Costa Christian will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Chinese Christian (San Leandro, CA).
