Missouri High School Basketball - St. Francis Borgia prevails Whitfield
(February 6, 2012: Washington, MO 63090) St. Francis Borgia Knights (Washington, MO) supporters were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Whitfield Warriors (St. Louis, MO), 51-38 in a league challenge.
With the victory, St. Francis Borgia improves its record to 19-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Lutheran South (St. Louis, MO) to battle the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 11-12. Lutheran South won 81-73 in their recent non-league challenge against Affton (St. Louis, MO)
Next up, the Warriors battle the Pattonville Pirates (Maryland Heights, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 17. Whitfield will attempt to improve on its 13-8 season record.
