(January 17, 2012: Cape Girardeau, MO 63703) Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Central Tigers (Cape Girardeau, MO) and the visiting Saxony Lutheran (Jackson, MO), saw Central's basketball team triumph over Saxony Lutheran by a tally of 64-34.

The Tigers now sport a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Maplewood-Richmond Heights for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. Central will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 54-41 non-league loss to Soldan International Studies (St. Louis, MO). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-5.

The (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame (Cape Girardeau, MO). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Notre Dame trounced Advance (Advance, MO), 79-37, in a non-league contest.
