Texas High School Basketball - Comfort can't hold off Nueces Canyon

(November 29, 2011: Comfort, TX 78013) The Nueces Canyon Panthers basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the host Comfort Bobcats/Deer to 39 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Mason for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Nueces Canyon will meet a Punchers team coming off a 44-38 non-league win over Brady (Brady, TX). The Punchers record now stands at 7-1.

The Bobcats/Deer (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Our Lady of the Hills (Kerrville, TX). The Hawks come into the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Our Lady of the Hills edged Christian Academy (San Antonio, TX), 58-30, in a non-league contest.
