New York High School Football - St. Anthony's sneaks past Xaverian

(October 14, 2011: Brooklyn, NY 11209) The St. Anthony's Friars (Melville, NY) football edged the host Xaverian Clippers (Brooklyn, NY), 16-14 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Friars face the Chaminade Flyers (Mineola, NY) in a Catholic AAA-AA bout, on Friday, October 21. St. Anthony's will attempt to advance on its 5-0 season record. The Flyers enter the bout with a 5-1 record after their 23-19 league win over Iona Prep (New Rochelle, NY).
