(February 2, 2008: Edinburg, TX 78541) The Harlingen South Hawks (Harlingen, TX) basketball crushed the host Economedes Jaguars (Edinburg, TX), 93-33 in Saturday's league test.

The Hawks (28-3) will now prepare for their test against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo (San Juan, TX). The Bears go into the 5A Region IV District 31 test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo was trounced by Edinburg (Edinburg, TX), 66-42, in a league test.
