(January 20, 2012: Grenada, MS 38901) Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Tupelo Golden Wave (Tupelo, MS) and the host Grenada Chargers (Grenada, MS), saw Tupelo's basketball squad knock off Grenada by a score of 81-65.

With the victory, Tupelo improves its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Golden Wave travel to Calera (Calera, AL) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 17-4.
