California High School Basketball - Poway nudges Mt. Carmel

(February 3, 2012: San Diego, CA 92129) In Friday's league outing, the Poway Titans (Poway, CA) basketball squad edged the host Mt. Carmel Sundevils (San Diego, CA), by a count of 45-44.

With the victory, Poway upgrades its record to 17-8 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA) to play the Falcons in a Palomar challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 14-10. Torrey Pines won 67-55 in their recent league challenge against Westview (San Diego, CA)

Next up, the Sundevils play the Rancho Bernardo Broncos (San Diego, CA) in a Palomar challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Mt. Carmel will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 12-12 record after their 74-73 league win over Ramona (Ramona, CA).
