Texas High School Basketball - Burnet falls to Liberty Hill
(January 6, 2012: Liberty Hill, TX 78642) The Liberty Hill Panthers basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Burnet Bulldogs to 31 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 20-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lampasas for a 3A Region IV District 25 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Liberty Hill will confront a Badgers team coming off a 38-31 league loss to Salado (Salado, TX). The Badgers record now stands at 7-13.
The Bulldogs (11-11) will now prepare for their contest against Llano (Llano, TX). The Yellowjackets enter the 3A Region IV District 25 contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Llano ran past Ingram Moore (Ingram, TX), 58-26, in a non-league contest.
