Texas High School Basketball - Cisco nips Clifton

(December 1, 2011: Cisco, TX 76437) Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Cisco Loboes (Cisco, TX) and the visiting Clifton Cubs (Clifton, TX), saw Cisco's basketball squad hold off Clifton by a score of 42-41.

With the victory, Cisco improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Loboes travel to Hico (Hico, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league test on Thursday, December 8. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 3-1. Hico lost 45-29 in their recent non-league test against La Vega (Waco, TX)

The Cubs now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Llano for a non-league test on Friday, December 2.
