Minnesota High School Basketball - Minnetonka crushes North
(December 18, 2007: Minnetonka, MN 55345) Minnetonka Skippers (Minnetonka, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting North Polars (North St. Paul, MN), 69-45 in a non-league bout.
The Skippers now hold a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Buffalo for a non-league bout on Friday, December 21. Minnetonka will play a Bison squad coming off a 59-54 league loss to Princeton (Princeton, MN). The Bison record now stands at 1-5.
With the defeat, North moves to 1-6 on the year. The Polars travel to Robbinsdale Armstrong (Plymouth, MN) to face the Falcons in a non-league game on Thursday, December 20. The Falcons enter the game with a record of 6-1. Robbinsdale Armstrong won 69-61 in their recent non-league game against Johnson/City Academy (St. Paul, MN)
