California High School Softball - Van Nuys nudges Canoga Park
(April 7, 2011: Van Nuys, CA 91477) Van Nuys Wolves (Van Nuys, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Canoga Park Hunters (Canoga Park, CA), 7-6 in a league challenge.
The Wolves now own a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kennedy for a Valley Mission challenge on Monday, April 11. Van Nuys will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 11-4 league win over Canoga Park (Canoga Park, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 9-3.
With the loss, Canoga Park falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Hunters travel to Panorama (Panorama City, CA) to battle the Pythons in a Valley Mission challenge on Wednesday, April 13. The Pythons enter the challenge with a record of 7-5.
