Kansas High School Basketball - Heights fells Kapaun Mt. Carmel

(December 6, 2011: Wichita, KS 67206) Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Heights Falcons (Wichita, KS) and the host Kapaun Mt. Carmel Crusaders (Wichita, KS), saw Heights's basketball squad overcome Kapaun Mt. Carmel by a count of 61-52.

With the victory, Heights upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Falcons host West (Wichita, KS) to play the Pioneers in a Greater Wichita City challenge on Friday, December 9. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. West lost 50-47 in their recent league challenge against Kapaun Mt. Carmel (Wichita, KS)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Northwest Grizzlies (Wichita, KS) in a Greater Wichita City challenge, on Friday, December 9. Kapaun Mt. Carmel will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 73-54 league win over Southeast (Wichita, KS).
