New Jersey High School Basketball - North Brunswick prevails South Brunswick

(December 29, 2011: North Brunswick, NJ 08902) North Brunswick Raiders (North Brunswick, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting South Brunswick Vikings (Monmouth Junction, NJ), 60-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Brunswick upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Raiders travel to Edison (Edison, NJ) to play the Eagles in a Greater Middlesex - White bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Edison won 43-29 in their recent non-league bout against Woodson (Washington, DC)

Next up, the Vikings play the Colonia Patriots (Colonia, NJ) in a Greater Middlesex - Red bout, on Tuesday, January 3. South Brunswick will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 62-47 non-league win over Monsignor Farrell (Staten Island, NY).
