(October 14, 2011: Johnston, IA 50131) In Friday's league test, the visiting Ankeny Hawks football team scored a nice 31-6 triumph over the Johnston Dragons.
With the triumph, Ankeny improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Hawks host Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA) to confront the Lynx in a non-league test on Friday, October 21. The Lynx come into the test with a record of 5-3. Lincoln won 21-17 in their recent league test against Sioux City North (Sioux City, IA)
With the loss, Johnston drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Southeast Polk (Runnells, IA) to confront the Rams in a 4A Central Iowa Metro - Central test on Friday, October 21. The Rams come into the test with a record of 7-1. Southeast Polk won 48-22 in their recent non-league test against Sioux City East (Sioux City, IA)
