New York High School Basketball - Warsaw ripped by Wayland-Cohocton
(December 15, 2009: Warsaw, NY 14569) The Wayland-Cohocton Eagles basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Warsaw Tigers to 40 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Livonia for a Section 5 Livingston County I contest on Friday, December 18. Wayland-Cohocton will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 45-35 non-league win over Le Roy (Le Roy, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.
The Tigers (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Le Roy (Le Roy, NY). The Knights enter the Section 5 Livingston County II contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Le Roy trounced Geneseo (Geneseo, NY), 45-29, in a non-league contest.
