Arizona High School Basketball - Estrella Foothills tipped by Youngker
(January 17, 2012: Goodyear, AZ 85338) The Youngker Roughriders basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Estrella Foothills Wolves to 57 in the Roughriders non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Roughriders now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thunderbird for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. Youngker will confront a Chiefs team coming off a 74-60 league win over Moon Valley (Phoenix, AZ). The Chiefs record now stands at 11-9.
The Wolves (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Buckeye (Buckeye, AZ). The Hawks enter the III Section III contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Buckeye was nudged by Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ), 61-31, in a non-league contest.
