Minnesota High School Basketball - Minnetonka crushes Holy Family Catholic
(January 5, 2012: Minnetonka, MN 55345) Minnetonka Skippers (Minnetonka, MN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Holy Family Catholic Fire (Victoria, MN), 71-46 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Minnetonka upgrades its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Skippers travel to Pelican Rapids (Pelican Rapids, MN) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 9-2. Pelican Rapids won 65-27 in their recent league bout against Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Glyndon, MN)
The Fire now own a 0-16 record. They take the field next when they host Wayzata for a non-league test on Friday, January 13. Holy Family Catholic will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 73-51 non-league win over Anoka (Anoka, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 16-3.
