(February 6, 2012: Kansas City, MO 64114) Archie Whirlwinds (Archie, MO) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Barstow Knights (Kansas City, MO), 45-26 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Archie upgrades its record to 17-2 on the year. The Whirlwinds travel to Crest Ridge (Centerview, MO) to face the Cougars in a non-league game on Thursday, February 9. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 3-4.

With the defeat, Barstow moves to 1-8 on the year. The Knights travel to Sherwood (Creighton, MO) to face the Marksmen in a Crossroads game on Tuesday, February 14. The Marksmen enter the game with a record of 7-2.
