California High School Basketball - Wood edges Jesuit

(December 27, 2008: Carmichael, CA 95608) The Wood Wildcats (Vacaville, CA) basketball nipped the host Jesuit Marauders (Carmichael, CA), 66-62 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (11-2) will now prepare for their test against Tokay (Lodi, CA). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 4-6 record.

The Marauders now own a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Casa Roble for a non-league test on Monday, December 29. Jesuit will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 72-48 non-league win over El Dorado (Placerville, CA). The Rams record now stands at 3-6.
