(September 17, 2011: Peru, NY 12972) The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Peru Indians (Peru, NY) and the visiting Moriah Vikings (Port Henry, NY), observed Peru's football squad bounce Moriah by a count of 34-0.
The Indians now own a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Beekmantown for a Section 7/10 Class B contest on Saturday, September 24. Peru will play a Eagles squad coming off a 35-14 league win over Saranac (Saranac, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 3-0.
