Texas High School Basketball - King can't hold off Santa Fe

Santa Fe Indians basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting
King Panthers to 61 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.
The Indians now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to
Texas City for a
4A Region III District 23 contest on Tuesday, December 18.
Santa Fe will meet a Stingarees team coming off a
63-40 non-league loss to
Pearland (Pearland, TX). The Stingarees record now stands at 6-6.
The Panthers (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against
Galena Park (Galena Park, TX). The Yellowjackets enter the
4A Region III District 21 contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest,
Galena Park was nudged by
Ball (Galveston, TX),
72-48, in a non-league contest.
