(December 9, 2011: Hershey, PA 17033) In Friday's non-league outing, the Milton Hershey Spartans (Hershey, PA) basketball squad edged the visiting Cumberland Valley Eagles (Mechanicsburg, PA), by a count of 48-46.
The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Susquenita (Duncannon, PA). The Blackhawks go into the Mid-Penn - Capital outing with a 0-0 record.
The Eagles now hold a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cocalico for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 10.
