Colorado High School Basketball - Caliche winner over Sedgwick County
(February 3, 2012: Julesburg, CO 80737) The Caliche Buffaloes (Iliff, CO) basketball knocked off the host Sedgwick County Cougars (Julesburg, CO), 70-59 in Friday's league test.
The Buffaloes (14-0) will now prepare for their test against Merino (Merino, CO). The Rams go into the 2A/1A Lower Platte test with a 4-9 record. In their last test, Merino topped Wray (Wray, CO), 68-63, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Haxtun for a 2A/1A Lower Platte test on Saturday, February 4. Sedgwick County will clash with a Fightin' Bulldogs squad coming off a 69-50 non-league loss to Wiggins (Wiggins, CO). The Fightin' Bulldogs record now stands at 7-6.
