(October 18, 2008: Meredith, NH 03253) The Newfound Regional Bears football team (Bristol, NH), was beaten 25-0 in Saturday's league challenge with the host Inter-Lakes Lakers (Meredith, NH)

The Lakers (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Newport (Newport, NH). The Tigers come into the Division VI challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Newport achieved victory over Farmington (Farmington, NH), 61-0, in a league challenge.

The Bears now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mascoma for a Division VI challenge on Saturday, October 25. Newfound Regional will meet a Royals team coming off a 22-6 league loss to Fall Mountain (Alstead, NH). The Royals record now stands at 1-6.
