Oregon High School Basketball - Grants Pass nudges North Medford

(January 31, 2012: Grants Pass, OR 97526) Grants Pass Cavemen (Grants Pass, OR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting North Medford Black Tornado (Medford, OR), 46-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Grants Pass upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Cavemen travel to Roseburg (Roseburg, OR) to encounter the Indians in a 6A Southern Oregon bout on Friday, February 3. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 6-11. Roseburg lost 57-25 in their recent league bout against Crater (Central Point, OR)

Next up, the Black Tornado encounter the South Medford Panthers (Medford, OR) in a 6A Southern Oregon bout, on Saturday, February 4. North Medford will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 18-0 record after their 82-37 league win over Grants Pass (Grants Pass, OR).
