Texas High School Basketball - La Porte winner over Dobie

(February 15, 2008: La Porte, TX 77571) The La Porte Bulldogs (La Porte, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Dobie Longhorns (Houston, TX), 45-31 in Friday's league test.

The Bulldogs (27-9) will now prepare for their test against Atascocita (Humble, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 24-11 record. In their last test, Atascocita topped Memorial (Port Arthur, TX), 41-39, in a non-league test.

The Longhorns now own a 18-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kingwood for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 19. Dobie will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 57-52 league win over Atascocita (Humble, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 27-8.
