California High School Basketball - Mission Hills prevails Carlsbad
(January 7, 2012: San Marcos, CA 92069) Mission Hills Grizzlies (San Marcos, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Carlsbad Lancers (Carlsbad, CA), 54-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mission Hills upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Grizzlies host Rancho Buena Vista (Vista, CA) to play the Longhorns in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 7-9. Rancho Buena Vista lost 59-54 in their recent non-league bout against Vista (Vista, CA)
Next up, the Lancers play the Escondido Cougars (Escondido, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 9. Carlsbad will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 2-13 record after their 51-47 non-league loss to Valley Center (Valley Center, CA).
