Massachusetts High School Basketball - Lowell topped by Andover
(February 7, 2012: Lowell, MA 01852) The Andover Golden Warriors basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Lowell Red Raiders to 38 in the Golden Warriors league victory on Tuesday.
The Golden Warriors now sport a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Chelmsford for a non-league contest on Friday, February 10. Andover will meet a Lions team coming off a 55-48 league win over Dracut (Dracut, MA). The Lions record now stands at 6-11.
The Red Raiders (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lawrence (Lawrence, MA). The Lancers come into the Merrimack Valley 1 contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Lawrence was defeated by Central Catholic (Lawrence, MA), 57-53, in a league contest.
