(January 20, 2012: Strawn, TX 76475) Lipan Indians (Lipan, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Strawn Greyhounds (Strawn, TX), 72-56 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lipan upgrades its record to 20-2 on the campaign. The Indians host Gordon (Gordon, TX) to play the Longhorns in a 1A-2 Region II District 16 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Longhorns come into the bout with a record of 2-5. Gordon lost 35-28 in their recent league bout against Newcastle (Newcastle, TX)

Next up, the Greyhounds play the Graford Rabbits (Graford, TX) in a 1A-2 Region II District 16 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Strawn will attempt to upgrade on its 20-4 season record.
