Texas High School Basketball - China Spring holds off Robinson

(January 10, 2012: Robinson, TX 76706) China Spring Cougars (China Spring, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad tip the host Robinson Rockets (Robinson, TX), 51-48 in a league test.

The Cougars (15-10) will now prepare for their test against Lorena (Lorena, TX). The Leopards go into the 3A Region III District 19 test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Lorena was tipped by La Vega (Waco, TX), 52-45, in a league test.

The Rockets now own a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Vega for a 3A Region III District 19 test on Friday, January 13. Robinson will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 45-29 league loss to Connally (Waco, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 17-4.
