(December 29, 2011: Cape Girardeau, MO 63703) The Charleston Bluejays basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Central Tigers to 39 in the Bluejays non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bluejays now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Notre Dame for a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. Charleston will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 72-59 non-league win over Advance (Advance, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-4.

Next up, the Tigers play the Northwest Lions (House Springs, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 65-41 non-league loss to Fort Zumwalt East (St. Peters, MO).
