Oregon High School Basketball - Centennial holds off Reynolds
(January 20, 2012: Troutdale, OR 97060) Centennial Eagles (Gresham, OR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Reynolds Raiders (Troutdale, OR), 52-45 in a league bout.
With the victory, Centennial upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Barlow (Gresham, OR) to play the Bruins in a 6A Mt. Hood bout on Friday, January 27. The Bruins come into the battle with a record of 11-4. Barlow won 66-40 in their recent league battle against Gresham (Gresham, OR)
The Raiders (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Central Catholic (Portland, OR). The Rams come into the 6A Mt. Hood battle with a 13-3 record. In their last battle, Central Catholic edged Douglas (Portland, OR), 57-54, in a league battle.
