(January 10, 2012: Portland, OR 97219) The Riverdale Mavericks basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Gaston Greyhounds to 35 in the Mavericks league victory on Tuesday.
The Mavericks now sport a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vernonia for a 2A Northwest bout on Thursday, January 12. Riverdale will encounter a Loggers squad coming off a 49-30 league loss to Portland Christian (Portland, OR). The Loggers record now stands at 2-10.
Next up, the Greyhounds encounter the Delphian Dragons (Sheridan, OR) in a 2A Northwest bout, on Thursday, January 12. Gaston will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 0-9 record after their 49-11 league loss to Neah-Kah-Nie (Rockaway Beach, OR).
