(January 23, 2012: Canton, CT 06019) The Northwestern Regional Highlanders basketball team (Winsted, CT), dropped 39-23 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Canton Warriors (Canton, CT)
The Warriors now possess a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Enfield for a North Central Connecticut battle on Tuesday, January 24. Canton will meet a Raiders team coming off a 43-19 league loss to Suffield (West Suffield, CT). The Raiders record now stands at 2-10.
The Highlanders (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against Litchfield (Litchfield, CT). The Cowboys come into the Berkshire battle with a 4-10 record. In their last battle, Litchfield dropped by Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT), 35-27, in a league battle.
