Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Bishop Guilfoyle trounces Cambria Heights

(February 1, 2012: Patton, PA 16668) The Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders (Altoona, PA) basketball crushed the host Cambria Heights Highlanders (Patton, PA), 67-35 in Wednesday's league test.

The Marauders (16-1) will now prepare for their test against Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA). The Red Devils go into the Laurel Highlands 1 test with a 7-10 record. In their last test, Central Cambria was trounced by Forest Hills (Sidman, PA), 65-25, in a league test.

The Highlanders now own a 6-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Penn Cambria for a Laurel Highlands 1 bout on Friday, February 3. Cambria Heights will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 59-50 league win over Bishop Carroll (Ebensburg, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 13-4.
