Roane County Raiders (Spencer, WV) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting
Braxton County Eagles (Sutton, WV),
46-37 in a league bout.
The Raiders now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to
Hoover for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 29.
Roane County will play a Huskies squad coming off a
52-27 non-league win over
Valley (Smithers, WV). The Huskies record now stands at 2-4.
Next up, the Eagles play the
South Harrison Hawks (Lost Creek, WV) in a
Little Kanawha bout, on Thursday, December 20.
Braxton County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Hawks come into the bout with a 3-2 record after their
44-29 non-league win over
Liberty (Clarksburg, WV).
