Texas High School Basketball - Argyle prevails Gainesville
(January 31, 2012: Gainesville, TX 76240) Argyle Eagles (Argyle, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Gainesville Leopards (Gainesville, TX), 46-32 in a league bout.
With the win, Argyle upgrades its record to 15-11 on the season. The Eagles travel to Godley (Godley, TX) to encounter the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 21-4. Godley won 50-36 in their recent league bout against Paradise (Paradise, TX)
Next up, the Leopards encounter the Sanger Indians (Sanger, TX) in a 3A Region II District 9 bout, on Friday, February 3. Gainesville will attempt to upgrade on its 20-8 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 18-11 record after their 64-18 league win over Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX).
