Texas High School Basketball - Floydada falls to Lorenzo

(December 2, 2011: Floydada, TX 79235) The Lorenzo Hornets basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Floydada Whirlwinds to 38 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Hornets now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anton for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Lorenzo will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 48-44 non-league win over Tahoka (Tahoka, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-5.

The Whirlwinds (3-4) will now prepare for their bout against Tahoka (Tahoka, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league bout with a 2-6 record. In their last bout, Tahoka was dropped by Anton (Anton, TX), 48-44, in a non-league bout.
