(May 21, 2009: Shingle Springs, CA 95682) In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Rocklin Thunder baseball team scored a tight 8-7 victory over the Ponderosa Bruins.

The Thunder (22-8) will now prepare for their game against Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA). The Grizzlies go into the non-league game with a 21-10 record. In their last game, Granite Bay was edged by Del Oro (Loomis, CA), 5-2, in a non-league game.
