Kentucky High School Volleyball - Notre Dame edged by Mercy

(September 13, 2008: Covington, KY 41011) The Mercy Jaguars volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Notre Dame Pandas to 1 in the Jaguars non-league victory on Saturday.

The Jaguars now have a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Floyd Central for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 17. Mercy will meet a Highlanders team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Mater Dei (Evansville, IN). The Highlanders record now stands at 12-1.

The Pandas (14-3) will now prepare for their game against DuPont Manual (Louisville, KY). The Crimsons enter the non-league game with a 20-5 record. In their last game, DuPont Manual held off Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY), 2-0, in a non-league game.
